I had the privilege and the joy to perform and to record Barber's The Lovers in November last year in Leipzig. Singing alongside the enthusiasm and curiosity of the JSO and the Landesjugendchor Leipzig was truly inspiring!

After a fortnight of rehearsals in November and another three weeks prior today Lliam Paterson's new opera 'The 8h Door' will be (world) premiered this coming Tuesday. The opera itself works as a sort of prequel to Bela Bartok's Bluebeard's Castle. What makes us fall in love with each other and what are the indefinable tragedies between 'two human souls'.
